Brief overview

It is clear that in the aftermath of the credit crunch the SME sector will be one of the main drivers to get us out of the recession and yet politicians do not do enough to support this sector. Over the last 18 months EMBG has been writing about the economy in our newsletters and engaging with the Labour and Conservative parties, HM Treasury and the GLA specifically on business related issues. Our engagement is being stepped up as the general election approaches. We wrote to the three main political parties in Watford to engage with us so that we can raise  our business and economic issues with them and report their responses back to our members.  Richard accepted our invitation early on and we are waiting for the others to respond. We will give an update at the meeting and also cover some of the economic and business issues covered in our last newsletter.

There will be a buffet supper after the presentation and ample opportunity to network with other like-minded business owners, make new contacts and expand your business. So bring lots of business cards with you!
